Begin today by reading the following passages from the Book of Acts:

1. Acts 4: 16 – 20 
2. Acts 5: 40 – 42 
3. Acts 8: 1 – 4 

Write down what you see in these early Christians that impress and convicts you. 

• Why do you suppose they were so committed to sharing the gospel with other people? 

Opposition will always come to those who work to make disciples. You see it here in Acts. 

Read also Jesus’ warnings in Matthew 10: 21- 25. 

• Why would you expect negative reactions from some people as you share the message of Jesus? 
  
• How will you respond? 

Write down at least three different places where you will go today, and then pray about taking God’s message into those places.
